BlueGuard LEDS’ patent pending Portable BodyGuard Wand is a hand-held LED light that kills pathogenic bacteria such as MRSA, Staph and more. It is an easy to use hand-held unit that is light and portable allowing you to direct the light on effected areas for treatment. The wand has both Blue LEDs in the 450 – 470 nanometer range for longer wave-length penetration of the skin and Red LEDs for healing of wounds and lesions. Applications for Human Treatment are to kill Pathogenic Bacteria including MRSA, wound healing, pain relief, acne, skin conditions and more. Applications for animals are for wound healing, pain relief, foot shank, hock hip, soreness, tendinitis, killing MRSA.

Since the early 1990’s, research studies have found that using Blue light above the UV range could actually kill certain bacteria. More recent studies have proven that Blue light in the 405 – 470 nanometer range can kill pathogenic bacteria including MRSA, Staph, Listeria, Salmonella and more. Additionally, studies have also found that using a red light in a specific spectrum increases the energy inside cells to accelerate healing. Cells that are exposed to this spectrum have grown 150% to 200% faster than those not treated. Used by Astronauts in space on a daily basis helps heal their cells to prevent the effects of long-term weightlessness.
